Q: Will we need to bring our own food and provisions?

A: We will ensure that the most basic essentials are in the store cupboard to get you started but, if you have any special dietary requirements, it will certainly be sensible to bring such foods with you as they may not be readily available at the local shop which is just next door.

Q: Are there places to eat, or takeaways if we do not fancy cooking for ourselves?

A: There are plenty of very good places to eat out in Orkney. You will find information about many of them in the flat on your arrival, but do check out the blog here for reviews as well.

Q: Are children welcome?

A: Yes, children are always welcome and will find plenty of things to entertain them in the area.

Q: Can we bring our pets?

A: Generally we cannot accomodate pets but will make an exception for one small well behaved dog. Please note this must be pre-arranged.

Q: Where can we fuel our car?

A: The local store also serves unleaded petrol and diesel.

Q: Is smoking permitted in the apartment?

A: We ask our guests not to smoke inside the apartment.
